Allergies

I forgot to take my allergy medicine yesterday and I was okay. I took allergy medicine today and I'm sneezing like crazy. Thoughts:

- My allergies would be much worse today had I not taken medicine, so I should be glad that I remembered.
- I do not respond to allergy medicine and yesterday was just a good day.
- I'm allergic to allergy medicine.

Take your pick.

Commuting to Work

Right now, I'm soaking up the last moments of another weekend come and gone. I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow.  What am I looking forward to least? It's not my job--I enjoy it. It's not my coworkers--they're nice. What I look forward to least is the drive to and from work.

My commute is about 22 miles. It takes 25-30 minutes--sometimes coming home takes even longer because of a construction project that has been going on ever since I got my job.

I enjoy cars, and I like driving. On a busy day, however, I really don't feel like wasting an hour of my time driving to and from work. Additionally, it's expensive.

I look forward to the day I live within walking or biking distance of work. Or, maybe even someplace with public transportation.

But until then, see you on the freeway.

Hair

I'd like a new hairstyle.  I envision something that doesn't require me getting my hair cut as much as I have to now.  Unfortunately, all the cool hairstyles I find on the internet seem to require straight hair. I do not have straight hair, and I'm not good at straightening it.  I'm just not a very straight person I guess you could say.

Phobia

I think I need to visit someone who does phobia counseling.  Does that exist?

My extreme fear of blood needs to be addressed.  Since I'm afraid of blood, I'm also terrified of going to the doctor, because I know they may try to draw blood.  That's not good, because I never go to the doctor.  People who don't go to the doctor are probably more likely to die young, which I do not wish to do.  I'd like to live until at least 2080, but I think 2100 would be even more fun.
