| | Right now, I'm soaking up the last moments of another weekend come and gone. I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow. What am I looking forward to least? It's not my job--I enjoy it. It's not my coworkers--they're nice. What I look forward to least is the drive to and from work.
My commute is about 22 miles. It takes 25-30 minutes--sometimes coming home takes even longer because of a construction project that has been going on ever since I got my job.
I enjoy cars, and I like driving. On a busy day, however, I really don't feel like wasting an hour of my time driving to and from work. Additionally, it's expensive.
I look forward to the day I live within walking or biking distance of work. Or, maybe even someplace with public transportation.
But until then, see you on the freeway.
